As a Senior Partner and Shareholder at Apax Partners, Greg led the firm’s U.S. late stage software practice focusing on growth capital, minority recapitalization, and control buyout opportunities in enterprise software, technology-enabled business services, business process outsourcing and internet-based direct marketing. During his 16 years at Apax, Greg was principally involved with 24 investments ranging from start-ups to buyouts, was Chairman of the U.S. Buyout and Venture Capital Approval Committees, and served on both the U.S. Operating Committee and the International Approval Committee for Apax Worldwide. Prior to founding PeakEquity, Greg spent four years as a Partner with LLR Partners, where he led the enterprise software investing practice and was responsible for four software companies in its portfolio. Greg began his private equity career with Investments Orange Nassau in the U.S. and Southeast Asia.

Greg currently serves on the board of G5. He has previously been a director of Bluestone Software, CML Emergency Services, Heartland Automotive Services, Planview, Princeton Softech, Revitas, Quintiq, Acre, Web Clients, SparkPost and EnterpriseDB among many other high growth companies.
