Dr. Heather Cribbs is an Oklahoma native who, after seeking a new adventure, landed in Colorado. While in Oklahoma, she practiced at a combined Urgent Care and Family Practice Center for 5 years before coming to Colorado in 2013. She brings an osteopathic perspective to medical care, which involves more in-depth treatment of patients rather than viewing them as a mere constellation of symptoms. She strives to integrate the body, mind, and complex social surroundings to improve her clients’ overall wellness and progression toward health. She manages chronic health concerns and incorporates hands-on treatment (such as OMT, or osteopathic manipulation). Dr. Cribbs earned a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and has completed additional training in wilderness medicine, prolotherapy, and craniosacral therapy. Prior to receiving her Doctorate, she received a Master’s Degree in Spanish Linguistics from the University of New Mexico and taught at the collegiate and high school levels.
