Kristin Duffy

Healthcare Provider at PeakMed

Kristin Duffy grew up in Arizona and attended the University of Arizona as an undergrad, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She then served rural and urban communities across the Midwest and New Orleans with Americorps NCCC before dedicating herself to psychology and neuroscience research. She worked as a laboratory manager at Duke University and then attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying the effects of aerobic exercise on brain plasticity across the lifespan. It was while earning her Master of Arts in Psychology that she decided she ultimately wanted to work directly with people to improve their health. She earned her physician assistant degree at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona in 2018 and then moved to Colorado to start her career in family medicine. She loves family medicine because it allows her to build long-term relationships with her patients and to treat the whole person. With her background in psychology, she has a particular passion for helping patients struggling with anxiety and depression through a holistic approach.
