Makayla Davis

Makayla Davis is an experienced doula currently working with Los Angeles Birth Partners since July 2023, providing support to new parents throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. With a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education and Promotion from Kent State University and certifications in Birth Doula and Childbirth Education from the International Doula Institute, Makayla combines clinical knowledge with community care. Previous roles include serving as a Public Health Administrator for US Health Fairs, where responsibilities included managing event logistics and coordinating health screenings, and as an Office Associate with Baby2Baby, a non-profit supporting children in poverty. Additional experience includes working as a Clinical Technician at Cleveland Clinic, focusing on sample collection and testing. Makayla also acts as an Ambassador for Peanut, contributing to community support initiatives.
