Sam Torres

Sam Torres is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in underwriting and loan origination. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President, Underwriter II at Peapack-Gladstone Bank since September 2022, Sam previously held multiple roles at Wintrust Life Finance, including Loan Officer and Junior Loan Analyst. Earlier experience includes positions at PNC as a Financial Consultant and management at Silk City Beverages, Inc., where leadership was demonstrated over a bilingual team and substantial cash flows. Sam's background also includes a foundational role in media as Founder and Editor-in-chief of PanCo, alongside contributions to WFUV Public Radio. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Investment Management from The University of Alabama.
