Colby R. Takeda

Colby R. Takeda has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries.

Starting in 2009, Colby worked as a Youth Health Advisor at the Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency. This role lasted until 2011.

In 2011, Colby took on the role of Program Manager at the Hawaii Meth Project, which lasted until 2013. Additionally, during this time, Colby also worked as the Communications Coordinator at the Hawaii Public Health Association.

In 2013, Colby became the Executive Director/Administrator at The Plaza Assisted Living, a position held until 2018. Colby also briefly worked as the Member Activities Manager at Mililani Town Association in 2013.

From 2018 to 2021, Colby worked at Sharecare, Inc. as a Senior Manager in Strategic Partnerships & Initiatives.

Colby's most recent role is that of Co-Founder and CEO at Pear Suite, starting in 2021.

Colby R. Takeda's education history includes a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in Health Policy and Management from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, they hold a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration from the University of Hawai'i - Shidler College of Business. They also completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Exercise and Health Science from Willamette University.

Colby R. Takeda received a Diploma from Iolani School. They pursued Graduate Education in Philanthropic Studies at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Currently, they are in progress of completing a Doctor of Education (E.d.D.) in Health Education, focusing on Health Education, at Columbia University.
