Harvey Stephens

Harvey Stephens has a strong background in renewable energy and construction. Harvey began their career at LUZ Engineering as a Solar Field Superintendent, where they gained experience in overseeing solar field operations. Stephens then joined NextEra Energy Resources in 1989 and held various positions, eventually becoming the Production Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing the operations and maintenance of the world's largest solar thermal power plants. Harvey also played a key role in safety culture development and achieved OSHA VPP STAR certification for multiple types of power plants. Since 2011, Stephens has been working at World Wind & Solar as the Vice President of Operations. In this position, they oversee the operations and management department and is involved in new business development, budgeting, staffing, and project execution.

Harvey Stephens obtained a Six Sigma Certification - Green Belt from NextEra Energy University in 2009. Prior to that, they earned an AS Degree in Welding Trades from New Mexico State University-Dona Ana in 1980.
