LaTonya Simmons (She/her)

LaTonya Simmons has a diverse and extensive work experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, client services, HR, and project management. LaTonya is currently serving as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Recruiting at Pearl Interactive Network Inc. Prior to this, they worked as a Consulting Partner at LS Consulting, LLC where they handled client services, HR and payroll outsourcing, national staffing and recruiting, and project and event management. LaTonya also served as the Vice President of Client Services at DPT Events, Inc., a national events and promotions staffing agency. Before that, LaTonya worked as an iCaST Manager and Staffing Consultant at ignition inc., and as a Virtual Talent Acquisition Lead and Mentor at Advantage Solutions. LaTonya shifted her early career from Retail Operations to Talent Acquisition as a Manager of Casting at IMG, where they directed the staffing and recruiting division and established the agency's first national resource bank of diverse talent.

LaTonya Simmons earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, with a concentration in Apparel Merchandising and Design and a minor in Marketing. LaTonya attended the university from 1991 to 1995. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers," "Dealing with Microaggression as an Employee," "How to Support Colleagues From Underrepresented Groups," "Uncovering Unconscious Bias in Recruiting and Interviewing," and "Building a Talent Pipeline from New Recruits to Leadership." These certifications were obtained between June 2020 and April 2021.
