Ellen Higgins

Ellen Higgins is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and organizational development. Currently serving as a Chief Member at @Chief since March 2024, and as Vice President at Pearl Meyer since May 2023, Ellen focuses on enhancing leadership effectiveness within boards and management teams. Previously, as Principal at The River Group LLC from September 2021 to August 2023, Ellen helped CEOs achieve transformational change. Ellen’s past roles also include Director of Organization Development at Scholastic, Change Management Lead at New York Life Insurance Company, Managing Consultant at Capgemini, and Consultant at IBM Global Business Services. Ellen began the career as a Job Development Coordinator at Urban Pathways and as an Events Planner at The Conference Board. Educational credentials include an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Arizona.
