Pearl Street Technologies, Inc. is an early stage startup out of Carnegie Mellon developing next-generation software for the electric utility industry.

Pearl Street Technologies, Inc. is based in Pittsburgh, PA and backed by the National Science Foundation, ARPA-E, the Department of Energy, and Incite Labs, they are building tools to make the grid more reliable, more secure, and greener. They development activities include software for grid planning with high renewable penetration, parallelized optimization tools to find the most cost and energy efficient dispatch of grid resources, and solutions to detect targeted cyber attacks on the grid.
