The journey began with their parents, Jose and Maria Castro starting their restaurant career in Guadalajara, an international destination for Mexican cuisine. Inspired by their parents they family took the restaurants to the next level. As all good families do, they stick together and you can still find Jose cooking several hours a day in one of the restaurants. What makes the Pearl West Restaurants different? They were built on a strong foundation of family, faith and love. The family has faced many adversaries over the years and each one makes them stronger and more determined to provide Our nine restaurants are spread across the Southern Washington and Portland, Oregon regions with our 10th underway venturing outside L.A. in Downey, CA.
