Brittany Martin

Brittany Martin serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Pearson, beginning in October 2023. Prior to this role, Brittany held the position of Education Department Relations Manager at Lexia Learning from April 2021 to October 2023, where responsibilities included engaging with State Department of Education leaders, monitoring legislation, and fostering partnerships for literacy initiatives. From 2018 to 2021, Brittany worked with the Nevada Department of Education, leading fiscal analysis as a Harvard Strategic Data Fellow and co-designing the Equity Team. Previous positions at Pearson included ELL/Intervention Account Executive and Account General Manager, focusing on sales and support for English Language Learners and managing significant school district accounts. Early career experiences include program management at the NYC Department of Education and teaching ELA and Writing at the School District of Philadelphia. Brittany holds an M.S. Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania, a Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Penn State University.
