Chalana Kahandawala

Chalana Kahandawala is an experienced software quality engineering professional currently serving as Associate Lead at Pearson since October 2019, focusing on end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) participation, QA strategy formulation, and automation methodologies. Prior to this role, Chalana held multiple positions including Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, where responsibilities included leading quality deliverables and overseeing test automation using Selenium and Cucumber. Prior experience at Auxenta spanned various roles from Intern to Senior Software Engineer in QA, contributing to comprehensive QA processes and improvements. Chalana holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Technology from Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka and is pursuing further education at Sri Lanka Technological Campus.
