Kara Flanagan

Kara Flanagan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management, partnership development, and workforce training. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager for the Pearson Skilling Partner Program since June 2025, Kara is dedicated to empowering partners in delivering transformative skilling programs. Previous roles include Head of Global Partnerships and Business Development at AI CERTs, where the focus was on AI and Blockchain certification, and Senior Director positions at PeopleCert and the DevOps Institute, concentrating on digital content and IT learning. Kara’s career began at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, advancing from VP of Sales to Global Director of the Center For Leadership and Development, where a new Leadership and Professional Development program was successfully launched. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from the University of Sioux Falls and various associate degrees in business and computer sciences.
