Mark Burrows

Mark Burrows serves as the Deputy Chief Executive at Southport Education Group since January 2023, overseeing multiple educational institutions, including Southport College and KGV Sixth Form College. Burrows is also the Chair of the Deputy/Vice Principal Group for the Association of Liverpool City Region Colleges, effective October 2024, and holds the position of Non-Executive Chair of the Swim England Qualifications Board, providing strategic leadership and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, Burrows has extensive experience in various educational roles, including Director of Curriculum at Activate Learning and the South Central Institute of Technology, and has contributed to national projects in sports education and training. Academic qualifications include a degree in Preparing for CEO from the University of Oxford and a Master's in Exercise Physiology from the University of Central Lancashire.
