Mike Mayor

Mike Mayor is a seasoned ELT professional with over 35 years of experience in teaching, publishing, and educational research. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Global Scale of English at Pearson, Mike previously held the position of Director from 2013 to 2022 and served as Editorial Director at Pearson Education from 2003 to 2013. Mike holds a Master of Philosophy in English and Applied Linguistics from the University of Cambridge, a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from the University of Hull, and a Dip. TEFLA from Université de Lyon. Their current interests focus on international standards, curriculum design, and English for employability.
