Richard Thorpe

Richard Thorpe has extensive work experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Richard currently serves as the President & CEO of Pebble, a position they started in September 2022. Before that, they were the Chairman of Electric Future Group (EFG) since March 2021. From April 2019 to the present, they held the role of Chairman at The HFM Group and was also the Global CEO from June 2018 to April 2019. Prior to that, Thorpe worked as the Group Executive Director at Service Matters from October 2017 to November 2018. Richard also served as the Global Strategic Director at PHS Group from January 2016 to October 2017 and as the Group Key Accounts Director from November 2014 to January 2016. Additionally, Thorpe co-founded the UK School of Sustainability in April 2013 and held the position of Co-Founder & Committee Member until October 2017. Richard was a Board Member at BIFM - The professional body for facilities management from June 2014 to May 2016. Thorpe served as the Head of Business Development at EIC Limited from April 2013 to November 2014 and as the Solution Sales Lead at Honeywell from November 2011 to March 2013. Richard started their career as the Chief Operating Officer at Trident DNS from July 2009 to October 2011.

Richard Thorpe attended University College Bristol from 2001 to 2003. During this time, they pursued a degree in Business & Technology, earning an HND. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Wales, Newport from 2003 to 2006. Here, they completed a Bachelor's degree with honors in New Media and Business, achieving a 2:1 classification.
