Dominic Van Nes

Dominic Van Nes is the Vice President of Guest Technology at Pebble Beach Resorts. Dominic has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on technology.

Dominic started their career in 1992 as a Product Designer at Hotel Information Systems. Dominic quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the Product Manager and then the Network Manager. In 1995, they left Hotel Information Systems to join Pebble Beach Resorts.

At Pebble Beach Resorts, Dominic has been responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of various guest-facing technologies. Dominic has also been instrumental in developing Pebble Beach Resorts' email system, which connects seven offices around the world and has greatly improved corporate communications.

Dominic Van Nes started their educational career by getting a BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Cornell University. After that, they transferred to Cornell to study Hotel and Restaurant Management. Finally, they took some kitchen and service courses in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern.

They are on a team with John Sawin - Vice President & Director of Golf, Linda Cooley - Vice President, Human Resources, and Aaron Flink - Executive Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer. Their manager is David Stivers, CEO.
