Ranwan Weerasuriya

Ranwan Weerasuriya has over 20 years of work experience in the hospitality industry. Ranwan started their career as a Guest Relations Manager at Intercontinental Geneva from February 1998 to July 2000. Ranwan then joined Vail Resorts Hospitality/RockResorts in 2002, where they worked as a Revenue Manager from December 2002 to November 2003 and again from November 2003 to April 2004. From May 2004 to January 2010, Ranwan served as the Corporate Manager Revenue Analysis & Strategy, providing support and guidance for 25 hotels, mixed-use, and condominium properties totaling 3,300 units. Ranwan also evaluated, acquired, deployed, and managed strategic systems for Revenue Management in the company. In 2010, they joined Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, LLC as the Director of Revenue Management and held this role until June 2013. Currently, Ranwan is serving as the Director of Revenue Management at Pebble Beach Company, a position they have held since July 2013.

Ranwan Weerasuriya completed their International Baccalaureate degree at the International School of Geneva from 1987 to 1991. Later, from 1996 to 1998, they pursued a Diploma in Hospitality Management at EHL. Ranwan then proceeded to obtain a Masters degree in Hospitality Management from Cornell University, which they completed from 2000 to 2002.
