Andrew Hutchings is an experienced engineering manager with a career spanning over three decades in electronics and software automation. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for the Research and Development group at Pebble since August 2021, Andrew leads a team focused on next-generation software-based automation and playout systems. Prior to this role, Andrew worked at Grass Valley from April 2011 to July 2021, managing a mixed discipline team specializing in SDI Routers and control systems. Andrew's extensive background includes positions at Sony, where roles ranged from senior engineer to manager, and previous experiences at C&C Electronics, Rhombos Technology, DSK Systems, and Marconi Command & Control Systems Ltd. Andrew holds a BSc(Hons) in Electronics from the University of Kent.
