Edward Basham

Edward Basham has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Edward started their career as a Community Volunteer at the British Heart Foundation, where they performed various duties related to pricing items, arranging the shop floor, and assisting customers. Edward then worked as a Catering Assistant at Blue Arrow, demonstrating reliability and efficiency in both catering and warehouse environments.

Edward later pursued a career in education, first as a PGCE student at the University of Reading, where they gained experience in lesson planning and delivery. Edward then worked as a Science Teacher at Holmer Green Senior School, delivering lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 stages and liaising with teaching staff and supporting professionals.

Following their teaching experience, Edward worked as a self-employed Science and Maths Tutor, helping GCSE students improve their grades and fostering their confidence and interest in the subjects. Edward then joined Sparta Global as an IT Consultant Trainee, completing a rigorous training program and earning qualifications in software testing and business analysis fundamentals.

Edward continued their journey in the IT sector, joining Proversity as a Technologist, where they worked on a client project for a major university, creating online materials using HTML skills and assisting in the technical provisioning of online academic courses. Edward then worked at WorkForce Software as a Software Quality Analyst, operating independently within agile scrum teams and becoming highly proficient in all core QA duties.

Most recently, Edward joined PebblePad - The Learning Journey Platform as a Software Testing Specialist.

Edward Basham completed their education from 2009 to 2013 at UCL, where they obtained a degree in medical physics with a field of study in Physics.
