Mary Hughes has a diverse professional background with a focus on community outreach, counseling, and executive leadership. Currently serving as Community Outreach Coordinator at Peconic Landing At Southold Inc. since January 2022, Mary previously held the position of Retirement Counselor at the same organization. Prior experience includes being the Executive Director at both the Riverhead Chamber of Commerce and East End Arts Council, as well as roles at Southampton Hospital and the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons. Mary began their career at Polo Ralph Lauren as a Special Projects Manager. Educationally, Mary holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from St. Bonaventure University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
