Michael Byron

Vice President, Development at Pedcor Investments

Michael Byron has extensive experience in the fields of law and real estate development. Michael started their career as a Staff Attorney at the Indiana Department of Environmental Management in 1999 and later worked as an Associate at Kortepeter McPherson Hux Freihofer & Minton, where they practiced law in various areas such as family law, estate planning, real estate, bankruptcy, and environmental law. After the merger of Kortepeter McPherson Hux Freihofer & Minton with Sommer Barnard PC, Michael continued to work as an Associate at Sommer Barnard PC until 2007. In the same year, they joined Hume Smith Geddes Green & Simmons LLP as a Senior Associate. Finally, since 2007, Michael has been working at Pedcor Investments as a Vice President of Development, overseeing the development of multi-family apartment communities throughout the United States. Michael is responsible for conducting demographic analysis, site visits, contract review, rezoning, and coordinating with local authorities and construction staff.

Michael Byron attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at Valparaiso University School of Law from 1996 to 1999, earning a Juris Doctor degree with a focus on Law.
