Ya-Li Potts, MBA

Ya-Li Potts, MBA has a diverse range of work experience spanning over three decades. Ya-Li started their career at Phoenixtec Power Co in 1990, where they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst. During their time there, they played a key role in the development and implementation of the company's strategic planning, including annual budgets and a 5-year mid-range plan.

In 1996, Potts joined Equipnet, Inc as an Assistant Controller. Ya-Li supervised accounts payable and accounts receivable departments, while also being responsible for monthly closing, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.

Following their tenure at Equipnet, Potts worked at Astra Pharmaceuticals, L.P as a Senior Financial Analyst. Here, they prepared monthly reporting packages, variance analysis, and trend analysis. Ya-Li also handled the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the corporate cost centers and oversaw accounting and reporting functions for five subsidiaries.

Potts then joined Allianz Global Investors in 2000 as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. In this role, they managed a team of financial analysts and provided critical analysis and insight to foreign parent companies, subsidiaries, and senior management. Ya-Li also developed planning and reporting guidelines and oversaw the implementation of financial databases.

In 2007, Potts moved on to ISTA Pharmaceuticals (now under Bausch + Lomb). During their time as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, they lead the preparation of the strategic plan, annual budget, and monthly forecasts. Ya-Li was also responsible for budget and forecast balance sheet and cash flows.

Potts then took on the role of Senior Manager at Applied Medical in 2012. Ya-Li'sresponsibilities included collaborating with department managers and business partners to develop strategic and operating plans, as well as analyzing key financial metrics and operating results for business performance insights.

From 2013 to 2017, Potts worked at Pixi as the Controller and Director of Finance and Operations. Ya-Li directed and coordinated all aspects of accounting and financial functions, prepared and analyzed monthly financial statements, and provided financial leadership input for key commercial and corporate decisions.

In 2017, Potts became the Corporate Controller and Director of Accounting & Finance at J5 Infrastructure Partners, a telecommunications infrastructure service company. Here, they performed site acquisition, leasing, permitting, zoning, structural engineering, utility coordination, and equipment installation services directly to major wireless carriers and government entities.

Most recently, Potts has taken up the position of VP of Finance & Administration at Pedego Electric Bikes in 2018. In this role, they oversee the finance and administrative functions of the company.
