Dr. Sharla Walker

Dr. Sharla Walker, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, is currently a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Pediatric Associates since January 2023 and the founder of Hearts Over Habits, Inc., a nonprofit organization established in October 2019 to provide mentorship and support within the community. Previously, Dr. Walker served as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Community Health Centers of Pinellas, Inc. from August 2018 to September 2021, delivering primary healthcare to pediatric patients and overseeing acute care in the newborn nursery. Clinical experience also includes roles as a Registered Nurse at BayCare Health System and Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, as well as a Patient Care Technician at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Dr. Walker's educational background includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Maryville University of Saint Louis and a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the same institution.
