Pablo Setuain

Pablo Setuain is the current Chief Financial Officer at PedidosYa. Prior to their current position, they served as the Vice President of Online Business in Latin America for Samsung Electronics from January 2017 to December 2019. Pablo also served as the Chief Financial Officer for Latin America at Groupon from January 2012 to December 2017 and as the General Manager for South America at Core Security Technologies from January 2010 to October 2012. Pablo Setuain began their career at MercadoLibre.com in January 2008, serving as the Vice President of Advertising and New Business. In this role, they were responsible for the Business Unit with Regional P&L responsibility including Brazil, Mexico & Argentina. Pablo left MercadoLibre.com in December 2010 to join Amazon.com as the Director of Finance for Corporate & Business Development. At Amazon.com, they were responsible for leading financial due diligence and valuation analysis of over 30 M&A deals with valuations ranging from $20 to $500 million in the U.S. and Europe. Pablo also spearheaded Amazon.com’s category expansion via third-party merchants. Third-party sales currently account for 30% of Amazon.com unit sales.

Pablo Setuain has an MBA in finance and marketing from The Wharton School and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires.'
