Marta Barbosa

From 2019 to 2021, Marta Barbosa worked as a Representative of the students of the master's degree in mechanical engineering at ISEP - Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. During this time, they also took on the role of Volunteer coordinator at Porto Design Biennale from September to December 2019.

In 2020, Marta Barbosa was a Curricular Intern at INEGI driving science & innovation, where they worked until September 2022. Marta also worked as a Scientific Researcher at INESC Technology and Science - Associate Laboratory from September 2020 to April 2021.

Marta Barbosa joined PeekMed in December 2021, initially serving as a Medical Image Data Specialist until January 2023 before transitioning to the position of Medical Image Manager from January 2023 onwards.

In 2022, Marta Barbosa was involved in the FAIM 2023 - Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing International Conference. Marta was a member of the Local organizing committee from September 2022 and was later appointed to the Scientific committee from February to April 2023. Additionally, Marta Barbosa became a Board Member at AAAISEP in January 2022.

Lastly, Marta Barbosa contributed to the Tec2Med Summit as a member of the Scientific committee from October 2022 to June 2023. Marta also briefly worked as part of the Local Staff for the UEFA Champions League in May 2021.

Overall, Marta Barbosa has gained experience in various roles within the fields of engineering, research, event organization, and medical image management.

Marta Barbosa's education history is as follows:

From 2016 to 2018, Marta Barbosa attended the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, where they obtained a Licenciatura in Engenharia Biomédica/Médica.

In 2019, Marta Barbosa enrolled in two different institutions. Marta studied at the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Medical Informatics. Additionally, they attended the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, where they obtained another Master of Science (MS) degree, this time in Mechanical Engineering.

In 2022, Marta Barbosa furthered their education by enrolling in the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In terms of additional certifications, Marta Barbosa obtained several throughout their education and career. In 2019, they acquired the certification in "Gestão de cuidados de saúde baseados em Valor" from MEDCIDS. In 2019, they also acquired the certification in "Modelação Paramétrica 3D SolidWorks" from the Ordem dos Engenheiros. In 2020, they obtained two certifications, namely "Python" from the Ordem dos Engenheiros and "Certificado de Competências Pedagógicas - Formador" from IEFP. Additionally, in 2019, they acquired the certification in "EnCARREIRA-(te) - desenvolvimento de competências transversais" from ISEP|GO.
