Amit Khanna

Amit Khanna has a diverse work experience in finance, technology advisory, and entrepreneurship. Amit currently serves as the Director of Finance, Property, and Information Technology at Peel Children's Aid since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at MNP as a Senior External Financial Advisor and Business Consultant from 2021 to 2023. From 2018 to 2021, they held multiple roles at Deloitte Canada, including DeloitteDirect Lead, National Lead, and Ontario Lead, where they collaborated with stakeholders and built roadmaps aligned with the business's strategic vision. Amit also has experience as a Managing Director at AK PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION and as a Senior Manager at Figures and Data, where they led digital transformations and provided end-to-end business solutions. Amit began their career as a Staff Accountant at Deloitte Canada and NVS Chartered Accountants and also co-founded CeilingHouse and ShovelForMe during their earlier years.

Amit Khanna completed their Honors B.A. in Kinesiology from Western University from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, they pursued further education in the field of Education and obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from York University, which they completed in 2006. Later on, from 2009 to 2012, Amit attended York University again, this time studying Accounting, although their degree name is not provided.
