Peel Children's Aid
Monique DaCosta is an experienced legal assistant with a strong background in administrative roles across various organizations. Currently serving at Peel Children's Aid since February 2016, Monique holds the titles of Legal Assistant and Unit Administrative Assistant. Prior experience includes a position at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP as a Legal Personnel/Human Resources Administrative Assistant and a co-op role at Lerners LLP where Monique utilized a Data Management System and maintained client files. Monique's earlier work as a server at Red Lobster involved excellent customer service under pressure. Additionally, Monique contributed as an Office Administration Assistant with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel. Monique holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts with majors in Criminology and Equity Studies from the University of Toronto and has completed studies at Sheridan College.
Peel Children's Aid
Peel Children's Aid served more than 7,800 families and 16,300 children in the Region of Peel. More than 160 foster families in Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon provided homes for children in care. More than 5,500 investigations were conducted by the Agency.
