Jeff Wells

Jeff Wells is an experienced educator currently serving as the Healthy Active Living Educator and Acting Head of the Health and Physical Education Department at Port Credit Secondary School since September 2005. With a focus on Outdoor Education for Grades 10 and 11, Jeff Wells emphasizes experiential learning opportunities to foster environmental advocacy among students. Notably, Jeff Wells has implemented a 100% Inquiry Based Learning Model in the Grade 12 Introduction to Kinesiology course. Previously, at Glenhaven Sr. Public School from September 2003 to June 2005, Jeff Wells was a Grade 8 Teacher and Co-Chair, where responsibilities included curriculum leadership and developing integrated project-based learning activities. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University, a Bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University, and an Hon. Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry from McMaster University.
