Marsha Forbes

Marsha Forbes is an experienced educational leader, currently serving as Principal at the Peel District School Board since September 2007, with past roles as Vice Principal, Special Education Teacher, and Teacher Librarian/Guidance Counselor. In addition to these positions, Marsha has contributed as a Climate Representative at the Central Board Office and presented on various topics, including technology, inclusion, and anti-bullying. Since September 2020, Marsha has held the role of Vice President for the Peel Principal Vice Principal Association, following experience as Anti-Racism and Equity Chair for the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario. Marsha's teaching background includes roles in both Canada and international settings. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education focused on Educational Leadership and Social Justice from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and two undergraduate degrees from York University in Education and History/Sociology.
