Anita Pershad

Anita Pershad is a Medical Student at the University of Tennessee-Health Science Center College of Medicine. Anita also serves as a Health Educator at Peer Health Exchange, where college students teach a health curriculum in under-resourced high schools. Anita has experience as an Academic Intern at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and as a Research Assistant at the Center for Interdisciplinary Inquiry and Innovation in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Ci3). Anita participated in Baptist Memorial Health Care's Experience Critical Internship Program, gaining exposure to emergency medicine. Anita has a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago and is currently pursuing their Doctor of Medicine degree.
