Abdullah Norain, MD, is a physician and entrepreneur with extensive experience in health technology and medical research. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of PeerCapsule, Abdullah is developing Recapsule, an AI-driven app for reviewing medical literature. Abdullah holds positions as a Biodesign Innovation Fellow and Diagnostic Radiology Resident at Montefiore Health System and has consulted for early-stage startups. Formerly, Abdullah co-founded Wellow Health, which reimagined electronic health record systems, and trained as a General Surgery Resident at Mayo Clinic. Abdullah's research experience spans various institutions, including the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, focusing on database analysis and innovative surgical outcomes. Abdullah earned an MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a BS in Biology and Biophysics from Creighton University.
