Andy McEachern, P. Eng. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Andy is currently a Board Member at the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC - a nonprofit health and safety association. Previously, they worked as the Senior Vice President at Peerless Limited, a premier manufacturer of specialized trailers and chassis. Andy also held the position of Principal at an independent company. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Trailer Manufacturing at McCoy Corporation, where they oversaw business development, strategic planning, and operations. Andy McEachern began their career at Peerless Limited as the General Manager, responsible for leading a trailer manufacturing facility and implementing Lean Manufacturing practices. Andy also served as the Engineering Manager, leading the Engineering department and launching successful product lines. Before that, they worked at DEW Engineering and Development ULC as the Engineering Manager and Program Manager, where they were involved in product development for military programs such as ballistic protection, wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles, minefield clearance, aircraft support, and personal equipment for soldiers.
Andy McEachern, P. Eng. completed their Executive Development Program (EDP) at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2006. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering from Carleton University between 1983 and 1987.
