Mary Megan Peer began their career in 1999 as an analyst at JPMorgan. Mary then moved to SG Cowen in 2004, before joining Jefferies & Company in 2005. In 2008, they became vice president at Piper Jaffray. In December 2008, they joined Peermusic as CEO.
Under their leadership, Peermusic has become one of the largest independent music publishers in the world. The company represents a wide range of artists, from Grammy-winning superstars to up-and-coming songwriters. In addition to its publishing business, Peermusic also operates a record label and a talent management company.
Mary Megan Peer has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in International Relations from Stanford University.
