Calvin Nguyen

Calvin Nguyen has worked for several companies since 2002. Theirfirst job was as a Research Assistant at San Jose State University, University Advancement in 2002. From 2003 to 2004, they were an Intern at Maxim Integrated, where they helped with new employee orientations, organized and distributed incoming and outgoing mails, and observed and processed drug screens and background checks. In 2005, they returned to Maxim Integrated as an Intern, where they wrote small business VB programs, improved and added new options to an existing Access database, and documented many of the Department’s previous Excel programs and web applications. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Programmer I, II, and III at Maxim Integrated, where they developed and supported EDI maps, implemented B2B new processes and transactions, and collaborated with IT teams to successfully implement SAP ERP modules. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Full Stack Engineer at PeerNova Inc, where they have been building and shipping many different and interesting features within Cuneiform Platform's and ClearConsensus's front-end applications.

Calvin Nguyen obtained their high school degree from Oak Grove High School between 1996 and 2000. Calvin then attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science between 2004 and 2007. In 2016, they completed a Certificate of Completion, Triple Black Belt in Web and iOS development from Coding Dojo. Calvin also holds a Coding Dojo Achievement Certificate.
