Sebastian Brooks

Sebastian Brooks has a wealth of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering. Sebastian began their career in 2006 as an Email Systems Engineer at Mailtrust. In 2008, they joined Rackspace, the #1 managed cloud company, as a Linux Systems Engineer 3. In this role, they developed solutions and drove efforts to create a segregated production zone for testing and deployment. Sebastian also created strategies for managing centralized monitoring and logging, built and maintained a Hyper-V based environment, and architected solutions for developer applications. In 2019, they moved to Block.one as a Lead Engineer. In 2020, they took on the role of Devops Engineering Manager at Bullish, and in 2022, they joined Peerspace as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.

Sebastian Brooks obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Computer & Network Administration from San Antonio College between 2010 and 2012. Sebastian also attended The University of Texas at Austin for a course in Virtual Leadership: Leading Dispersed Teams in 2011. Additionally, Sebastian has obtained certifications from various institutions, including Ansible Quick Start from Linux ACA in 2018, Azure Concepts from Linux Academy in 2018, Scality Advanced Operations Training from Scality in 2018, ITIL V3 from CSME Inc in 2011, New Relic Certified Performance Pro from New Relic University in 2017, and A+ from CompTIA in 2011.
