We are an accident and medical centre privately owned by Pegasus Health Charitable Ltd. We are the only accident and medical centre in Canterbury that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and have been caring for the people of Christchurch for over 20 years. We work closely with over 320 GPs in Canterbury who are affiliated with the 24 Hour Surgery to ensure their patients have access to urgent care after hours. All patients are assessed, treated, and then referred back to their regular practitioner for on-going care. We also welcome patients who are visitors to Christchurch and can provide them with the care they require whilst they are here. Our doctors are a mix of Pegasus Health member GPs and our permanent Medical Officers who are specially trained to provide general practice and accident related medical care. Our doctors are supported by highly skilled nurses and administrative staff. We are an ACC accredited accident and medical service provider, and with fracture clinic, x-ray and urgent pharmacy services we have everything you need on-site. We work closely with the DHB and other healthcare organisation to deliver health services to the people of Canterbury.
