Syed Ali

Syed Ali has a diverse work experience in the shipping and freight industry. Syed started their career in 1984 as a Transport in Charge at Fujikura Limited, where they were responsible for monitoring and controlling transportation activities. Syed then worked as an Operations Manager at TAQ Freight Management in 1986. In 1991, Ali became a Branch Manager at Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL). Syed then joined United Arab Shipping Company (S.A.G.) in 1994 as an Account Manager. In 2000, Ali joined United Cargo Management Inc. as a Business Development Manager, achieving over $2.5 million in sales. Since 2009, Ali has served as the Vice President of Business Development at Pegasus Maritime, Inc. and Pegasus Shipping, Inc.

Syed Ali completed their Bachelor's degree in Journalism and English History from the University of the Punjab in 1987. In the same year, they enrolled at the University of Wales and pursued a Master's degree in Port and Shipping Administration, which they completed in 1989. Additionally, they also attained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Oxford Brookes University in 1989.
