Austin Young

Austin Young is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in business and legal affairs across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Business Officer at Pegasystems since June 2025, Austin previously held the position of Director of Business and Legal Affairs at 2U, where responsibilities included overseeing all contractual negotiations with government, corporate, and university clients, providing legal support to sales teams, and leading vendor onboarding processes. Prior roles include Counsel at both edX and 2U, where Austin managed B2B contracts and legal support functions, and participated in significant corporate acquisitions and integrations. Austin has also worked as an Intake and Compliance Attorney at Ropes & Gray LLP, and represented clients in medical malpractice and insurance defense cases at Morrison Mahoney LLP and Shutts & Bowen LLP. Austin earned a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.S. in Business Marketing from Miami University.
