Nitin Athavale

Nitin Athavale, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the technology and consulting industry. Nitin is currently the Principal, Partner Delivery Success Manager at Pegasystems, where they focus on achieving successful outcomes for projects in the financial services and insurance sectors. Prior to this, Nitin served as the Practice Leader for Digital Operations at Capgemini, where they led the North American division and specialized in business process management. Nitin also worked at Infosys Ltd as a Senior Principal, providing critical expertise to clients. In addition, Nitin held significant positions at Pegasystems Inc., Aprimo Inc., Citi Group, and Strategic Technologies, Inc., where they played various roles such as Practice Lead, Vice President, and Director, focusing on delivering successful outcomes, driving organizational growth, and providing thought-leadership to clients.

Nitin Athavale, Ph.D. earned their Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Louisville, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, completing their studies from 1981 to 1985. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications such as the Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in October 2012 and the Pega Certified Senior System Architect from Pegasystems in April 2012.
