Victoria Romanda is the Chief of Staff at Peg’s Foundation and has been there since 2009. In her role she is responsible for the management of the operations of the foundation and supports the President and Board of Trustees. Before coming to the Foundation, she worked in social services for seventeen years focusing on mental health and prenatal services at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh.
She has experience working with community organizations and planned and executed professional education and special events. She has spoken to groups on her individual and family’s experiences with mental illnesses and has served on state and regional committees including former Ohio Supreme Court Justice Evelyn Lundberg Stratton’s Mental Health Education Committee and was Outside Lead for the Ohio’s Prevention Content Workgroup on the Transformation State Incentive Grant (TSIG). She was in Leadership Akron’s Class 30 and was Program Coordinator for Junior Leadership Akron for three years. Victoria graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 1991.
