Vaishnavi Sharma is currently a member of the Career Guidance and Placement Cell at IPCW - DU and Girl Up Sheईशा, both since March and December 2023, respectively. Vaishnavi serves as a social media marketing intern at Pehchaan The Street School and is active in several organizations at Indraprastha College for Women, including serving as a general body member of the Women's Development and Gender Sensitisation Cell and as an organizing committee member of COMBIZ - The Commerce Academic Society. Additionally, Vaishnavi contributes to the social media team at Erudite - The Quiz Society and has experience as a campus ambassador with MyCaptain and as a marketing intern with FuzeMee. Vaishnavi is pursuing education at Indraprastha College for Women from 2022 to 2026, following an earlier education at St. Michael Sr. Sec. School.

Pehchaan, a word that means ‘to recognise’- To recognise the dire need to educate our children, irrespective of their pockets, is our motive. For over 7 years now, while we have emphasized the value of education as a fundamental right, that ought to be accessible to every child out there with a desire to learn, we have always tried to go beyond that. The institutionalization and commodification of education across our country has severely restricted the ability for the underprivileged to access means of vocational as well as academic studies, and that’s the barrier that we aim to break with our street school.
