Brigitte Harper, MBA, CPCU, API, AINS, SM, APS, ERM has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Brigitte began their career at Pekin Insurance in 2012 as an Accounting Supervisor, where they successfully managed a team of 7 employees in the areas of Agency Accounting and Recovery Management. During their time in this role, Harper implemented various changes that resulted in process improvements and reduced overtime for the department. In 2015, they were promoted to Accounting Manager, a position they held until 2020. In March 2020, Harper was promoted to the role of Director of P&C Accounting at Pekin Insurance, where they currently serve. Their strong background in accounting and leadership make their a valuable asset to the company. Prior to their time at Pekin Insurance, Harper held a similar position as an Accounting Manager at Pekin Insurance Company.

Brigitte Harper, MBA, CPCU, API, AINS, SM, APS, ERM, has a diverse and extensive education history. In 1987, they earned an Associate's degree in Accounting from Illinois Central College. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Accounting from Midstate College, graduating in 2016.

Seeking further knowledge and expertise, Brigitte then enrolled in Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree between 2018 and 2020.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Brigitte has obtained multiple certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2008, they achieved the designation of AINS (Associates in Insurance) from The Institutes. Over the years, they have also earned several certifications from The Institutes, including CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter), API (Associate in Personal Insurance), and ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) in 2016. Additionally, in 2012, they obtained a certification in Supervisory Management from The Institutes. Lastly, Brigitte obtained the APS (Accounts Payable Specialist) certification from The Accounts Payable Network LLC in 2013.
