Ryan Hanson

Ryan Hanson has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. Ryan is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Pekin Insurance since February 2023. Before that, they held the position of Director on the Board of Directors at the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs since May 2015. Ryan also served as the Vice President of Finance at Palomar from October 2020 to February 2023. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at MGIC, starting in December 2003 and working in various finance and accounting roles until June 2020. Ryan began their career as a Financial Examiner at the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance in 2001, where they worked until 2003.

Ryan Hanson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance / Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. In 2003, they became a Certified Public Accountant after obtaining their certification from the State of Wisconsin. In 2014, they acquired the Chartered Global Management Accountant certification from the American Institute of CPA's. Recently, in October 2020, Ryan completed a certification in Digital Transformation from LinkedIn.
