Julia Janke (Knot)

Julia Janke (Knot) has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Julia started their career in the gaming industry at Electronic Arts Canada in 2003, where they worked as a Sr. Development Director for 9 years. During their tenure, they played a vital role in expanding the Central Art Department and overseeing art development in multiple locations.

In 2012, Julia joined Microsoft Studios | The Coalition as a Sr. Producer. Julia worked on the highly acclaimed Gears of War 4 as the Lead Gameplay Producer. Julia also had the opportunity to lead a large unreleased New IP project, where they took charge of production leadership in multiple disciplines.

In 2017, Julia transitioned to FreshGrade as the Director of Product Operations. At FreshGrade, they played a crucial role in transforming education by developing interactive products for teachers, students, and parents. Julia held this position until 2020.

Julia's most recent role is with Pela, where they joined in 2020. Julia initially served as the VP of Product Development before being promoted to the role of President of Pela Case in October 2022.
