Shannon Garcia

Shannon Garcia has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design. Shannon currently holds the position of Headwear Designer at YETI since May 2019. Prior to this, they worked as Graphic, Headwear, & Apparel Designer at Art 4 All by Abby Paffrath starting from March 2017. Shannon also worked as an Apparel Designer at Vapor Apparel from May 2020.

Before these roles, Shannon worked as an Art Director at Shannon Garcia Design as a freelance designer for various clients including Nike, Hurley, Disney, and more. Shannon has also taken on the role of Adjunct Professor at Laguna College of Art and Design from August 2007 to November 2019.

In their earlier career, Shannon has gained valuable experience at renowned brands such as Hurley, Billabong, and Rip Curl. Shannon held the position of Sr. Designer at Hurley from February 2007 to July 2012 and Sr. Designer at Billabong from January 2001 to January 2007. Shannon also worked as a Marketing Designer at Rip Curl from November 1998 to December 1999.

Throughout their career, Shannon has demonstrated skills in graphics, accessories, print, web, and apparel designs. Shannon has collaborated with art directors and teams to create graphics for various projects and has consistently displayed a "can do" attitude, treating clients respectfully and remaining professional under tight deadlines.

Shannon Garcia completed their high school education at San Clemente High School from 1991 to 1995. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design at Laguna College of Art and Design from 1995 to 1999. Shannon Garcia also holds a certification in BA Graphic Arts.
