Rick Darsey

Rick Darsey is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Pelican Broadband since October 2023, providing mentorship and operational leadership across all business aspects. Prior to this role, Rick held the position of General Manager at Northeast Louisiana Telephone Company, where strategic planning for revenue growth was a key focus. Rick has also served as VP of Network Operations at Nitel, overseeing the company's national Network Operations Center, and held the Director of Network Operations role at NortheastTel and Birch Communications, where Rick ensured effective network infrastructure management. Other positions include Senior Network Engineer with the City of Fort Collins and Senior Network Administrator at Picerne Military Housing, contributing to the design and management of national networks. Rick's extensive experience is supported by educational achievements from the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute, Delta Ouachita Technical School, and Macon Technical Institute.
