Ryan Haverstock

Ryan Haverstock has a solid background in biopharmaceutical development, with extensive experience in various roles. Ryan began their career at Biogen Idec in 2003, where they worked as a Process Development Engineer for almost nine years. In this role, they focused on bioseparations of CHO-expressed therapeutic proteins and gained experience in advancing molecules from research and development to commercialization.

After leaving Biogen Idec, Ryan joined Pelican Expression Technology. Ryan had a variety of positions, including Consultant, Sr. Scientist, Purification Group Leader, Product Development Lead, Director of Product Development and Process Characterization (Interim), Director of Portfolio Development, and Director of Portfolio Strategy. Throughout their time at Pelican Expression Technology, Ryan was responsible for tasks such as leading cross-functional teams in the development of biosimilar candidates, managing a team of purification scientists, and evaluating corporate development opportunities to expand the company's biologics pipeline.

Ryan Haverstock obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. In addition, they obtained a certification in BIO Professional Development Courses from the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) in June 2022.
