Jere DeLaune has extensive work experience in database administration and business intelligence. Jere began their career in 2003 as an Application/Database Developer at Computers on the Go, where they developed ETL/SSIS packages and utilized SSRS for reporting. From 2008 to 2010, Jere worked at Friendship World Outreach as a Database Advisor/Administrator and IT Technician, where they used SQL and VB script to format data and develop queries for attendance tracking. Jere then joined Agape IT Services as an SSRS Developer, where they created automated subscriptions and developed reports for senior executives.
In 2011, Jere worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at NuVasive Memphis, where they worked as both DBA and developer for an internationally utilized SQL server. Jere also gained experience with SAP and SSRS report development. Jere later joined Covenant Dove, LLC as a Senior DBA/BI Developer, where they worked on SQL Server and SAP, and edited ETL/SSIS packages.
From 2012 to 2013, Jere worked at Southern Graphic Systems as a Manager of Datawarehouse and Database Administration, where they developed high-performance and scalable SQL code and established data development standards. Jere then joined the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston as a Database Administrator and BI Developer, where they utilized Power View, Power Pivot, and SharePoint for data visualization and reporting.
From 2014 to 2017, Jere worked at Transwestern as an Operation Database Administrator, where they focused on maintaining and configuring SQL Server environments and ensuring redundancy and high availability with SharePoint integration. Most recently, Jere is serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Data Officer at PelicanSoft.
Jere DeLaune attended Austin Peay State University from 2004 to 2007, where they studied Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration. Jere also has an additional certification in SharePoint 2010 MS Administration, but specific details about this certification are not provided.
